thrift share monday: a quilt!

I haven't made my bed on a daily basis since I was about 10 years old. And, as you can see, my bed making skills are the poorer for it. Isn't there some rule about matching pillow cases? Whatever. My bed this morning is a little round up of the vintage linens I have found this month... unicorn pillow cases (lilo has the other one), super bright orange stripe sheet, flowery goodness, and my newest love: a quilt. I can't tell if it's handmade, but it is most definitely old and softly worn in. Makes me so happy every time I look at it.

Random finds: I feel the need to say the glasses aren't for me! I have too many as it is, and these are hopefully going to be a gift. Matching kitties are a conundrum... do I paint them for nashpop or hold onto them for my antique mall space? The girl and boy busts are definitely getting a fresh coat of paint, perhaps mint green. The little owl family print is going to the bedroom gallery wall (as soon as I hang everything.)
Lilo and I play this game of guess which item from this week's thrift share post is for you. I think it's pretty obvious today. These Tom and Jerry jelly jars are to make up for the ridiculously over priced Flintstones glasses I talked her out of buying last time we hit the antique malls together.
