typewriter art

I *love* typewriters.  Seriously.  They are a passionate addiction for me.  I can't help but stop and run my fingers over their keys anytime I spot them in a thrift store or at a flea market.  I've only owned two typewriters in my life.  The first was excitedly purchased at a thrift store in Florida.  I knew very little about them at the time and so bought one that took uncommon ribbons. Oh, how I hunted for those!!  That little typewriter served me well but sadly did not survive a fall during one of my frequent moves.  I was typewriter-less for several years but last year, I decided to take the plunge again.  I found an old Corona listed on craigslist that an older couple was selling.  It even came with a carrying case.  I was so happy when I brought it home and dusted it off.  It has its own special spot on an endtable in my craft room.  As much as I love typewriters, I have yet to make any of mine produce art nearly as awesome as this though:
